Memberships + Exec Applications

Fall ‘26 Exec Board Applications are open!

Requirements:

Be a member of DI; apply and attend a minimum of 4 events throughout the semester

Timeline:

→ Friday (April 17th) - Friday (May 1st): Exec board applications are live

→ Week of May 4th: Interviews (for all positions)

→ Friday (May 8th): Decisions are sent out

Application information is in the di-members slack channel!

Memberships:

Attendance emails were sent out this week. Email kmzhang@wisc.edu if you have any concerns or questions regarding the attendance requirement.

Interested in becoming a member of DI? Here’s what you need to know:

1. Member-Only Events → site visits, in depth workshops, competitions

2. Leadership Opportunities → you need to be a member to be able to apply for exec board

Requirements:

• Attend a minimum of 4 events this semester

  • 1 more meeting left

End-of-Semester Design Showcase

April 28th | 6 - 7:30 PM | 2516 Morgridge Hall

Clear your calendars and join us for our end of semester showcase! Come listen to DI cohorts present their semester long projects, and gain insight into their design process. Open networking with food and refreshments will also be included. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Design Telephone Recap

Thanks for everyone who attended Design Telephone! This was our last workshop of the semester, and we were so excited to see so many people there. This workshop covered the design process, and consisted of a game of telephone where each group would pass on their work to the next. It was so fun seeing everyone’s ideas, and building off each other’s ideas. Swapping between ideation, sketching, implementing, and prototyping felt exciting as you never knew what you would get next. Also, the presentations were great, and I personally could not stop laughing.

*Everyone who chose me (Kevin) > Smeera for the ice breaker are real ones
