Thank you to everyone who participated in our PD workshop. At the start, members were led through a presentation about the hiring process, which included tips such as the STAR method and templates to use to send to recruiters. Then, we developed both LinkedIn profiles and resumes built around a persona, working together in groups to strengthen key skills in the hiring process. Additionally, members practiced mock interview questions, and were provided feedback by exec members in their groups.
Topics:
→ LinkedIn + learning how to connect/message recruiters
→ Developing resumes around personas; emphasizing key qualities of candidate
→ Practicing the STAR method with mock questions
Thank you to everyone who joined! The slides are provided below and can be used as a helpful reference while applying.
